SMS / Text Message Alerts
Program name: FlagSentry Device, Account & Sign-In Alerts.
FlagSentry is an automated flagpole controller. Customers who buy a FlagSentry device create an account at flagsentry.com and may choose to receive transactional text (SMS) messages about their own device and account — for example, a device going offline, a motor fault, a half-staff order, or a one-time sign-in approval link. We never send marketing or promotional texts, and consent to texts is never a condition of purchase.
Who receives messages
Only the registered account holder (and any notification contacts they add to their own account) who has explicitly opted in and provided their own mobile number. Messages relate solely to that customer's device(s) and account activity.
How you opt in
Opt-in is web-based and happens inside your FlagSentry account. Both options below are unchecked by default — you must take an affirmative action to turn them on:
- Sign in to your account at flagsentry.com and open Account → Profile.
- Enter your Cell Phone number.
- Check “Enable SMS alerts to cell phone” to receive device & account alerts, and/or check “Require two-factor sign-in” to receive one-time sign-in approval links.
- Save your profile. You can turn either option off at any time, or reply STOP to cancel.

Message frequency, rates, and how to stop
Message frequency varies and depends on your device and account activity — messages are sent only when a relevant event occurs (most accounts receive few messages). Message and data rates may apply. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP; we will send a one-time unsubscribe confirmation and send no further messages unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or email admin@flagsentry.com. You may also turn either option off in your account settings.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and message delivery, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.
